The Carmel．洋房
It all begins with an idea that embracing some elements such as the new marble flooring with the newly built 3-storeys house. The client is a professional registered structural engineer which we are lucky enough to work with. He especially liked our transitional style of timeless classical and yet contemporary approach. Therefore, out of so many interior designers that he knew, we are the chosen team.
There are a great design interaction with the exterior and interior space, incorporating with landscape design, our design team has made the house project a special place to dwell in.
本次設計的概念源於設計師希望在洋房設計中使用不同的新式大理石元素，在三層的洋房空間中展現不同的效果。業主是一位註冊的專業結構工程師。他特別欣賞我們結合西方經典和現代主義的設計風格，因此在他相識的一眾室內設計師中，選擇與我們的團隊合作。
在本次的設計中設計師特別着重室內與室外空間的互動性，在園景設計和室內設計上互相配合。希望籍此將洋房打造成一個特別的居住空間。

In the living room, marble panels with different density are used on the floor, TV wall and table providing different levels of artistic sense. Pandora marble with an atmospheric splash ink pattern created a feature wall. To create layering in the space, the ceiling design can be divided into two layers, white and light gray. The white ceiling on the upper level is equipped with hidden light troughs. The gray ceiling on the lower level is decorated with thin mouldings, which bring back the classical design element to the modern house. Creating a sense of 'New' classical design.
Furniture are customized by the designer. Lamps and full-height cabinets made of rose gold steel highlighted a luxurious sense in the house. The walls separating the garden and the interior are constructed of oak. Natural oak texture builds up connection between interior and the garden.
在大廳的設計中，地板、電視機牆和桌面上均選用了不同花紋的大理石面板，營造不同層次的藝術感。設計師特地在電視機牆上使用潘多拉大理石，大氣的潑墨花紋成為大廳的焦點。天花板的設計分為白色和淺灰色兩個層次。上層的白色天花安裝了隱藏式燈槽，下層的灰色假天花則以精緻的花線裝飾，更顯大廳氣派。
全屋的家具由設計師為業主度身訂造。由玫瑰金鋼打造的燈具和全高櫃使大廳更具低調而奢華的氣質。分隔花園和大廳的牆面特地使用橡木的飾面，以自然的橡木紋理打破室內與室外空間的界限。

The big white wall which applied thin moulding near the wall edges is the main character of the master bedroom. Hidden doors on the wall are designed in order to maintain elegance and continuity of the room. A wooden wall is set up near the entrance of the bathroom and connected with the wooden floor as a whole. The large area of wooden texture integrates the breath of nature. The head of the bed is made of red leather, creating a color collision with the green striped wall behind the bed, embellishing the space with colors and materials.
主人房以白色牆身作主調。為保持房間優雅明亮的風格，設計師特地將兩扇門作隱藏式設計，以保持牆身的連貫性。洗手間的入口打造了一整面的木飾牆，木牆面與木地板整體相連。大面積的木紋為房間增添大自然的氣息。牀頭的設計選用紅色的皮革，與牀後綠色條紋牆身營造色彩的碰撞，以色彩和物料點綴空間。

Owners want a home theatre to enjoy their leisure time. The gray wall is made of sound-insulating materials. They can provide a better immersive experience and avoid influencing others. In addition to the gray wall, the TV walls are classic black and gold collisions to create fashion sense in the room. Considering that owners may spend a long time in the room, the designer set up a mini bar at the entrance to facilitate owners' use.
獨立的遊戲房滿足了業主的興趣需求。灰色的牆面特意使用隔音材料制成。業主使用遊戲房時，能夠在避免影響他人的同時有更好的沉浸式體驗。除了灰色牆身，電視機牆更使用了經典的黑金色碰撞，增添時尚感。考慮到業主可能長時間處於遊戲室內，設計師於入口處設置了小型吧檯，方便業主使用。

In order to satisfy the storage needs of owners, a full-height bookcase is designed in the study room. The dark oak cabinets and matte steel with different dimensions create a picture of dynamic abstract art. Owners may enjoy the great mountain view outside the window while sitting on the leather chair, which blends with the natural scenery.
為配合業主的儲物需求，設計師於書房訂造了一整面牆的全高書櫃。深色的橡木櫃配上磨沙金鋼使書櫃本身宛如一面特色牆。書桌的放置面向窗外，業主使用書桌的同時可飽覽窗外的山景，與自然景色融為一體。

The half french window looks like a movie screen of nature. Natural light may blend and bring warmth into the room. The designer installed the wardrobe in the recess of the aisle to increase storage space. At the same time it allows the bedside table and wall to extend along the side of the wardrobe. Visually extend the sense of space in the room.
次臥的大理石面書桌和單人牀均面向房內的半落地窗。窗戶本身宛如大自然的電影屏幕，自然光線和房間融為一體。設計師巧妙利過道的凹位安裝衣櫃，增加儲物空間的同時讓牀頭櫃可緣着衣櫃側面延伸成一整面牆，在視覺上提升房間的空間感。

The landscape design in the garden tends to create a multi-use space for the family. The outdoor mini bar and tea table provide a party space for them.
在園景設計方面，設計師希望為業主設計一個能與親朋好友一同享受自然環境的空間。因此在花園中設置了戶外吧檯和座椅等多用途空間。業主在花園觀賞美景的同時亦能享受美食。
